Maria Arsova

Managing Partner

Mrs. Arsova holds a master degree in Mass Communication from Sofia University, as well as an associate degree in Culture from the National Secondary School for Culture.

Her employment record includes positions such as a PR and Adverting Manager of National Bulgarian carrier Bulgaria Air, Head of Public Relations Department at the Ministry of Economy, Public Relations manager at Actavis (Balkanpharma at the time) and part-time lecturer in the Practical Aspects of the Marketing Theory at the University of National and World Economy in Sofia.

Mrs. Arsova is a member of the Bulgarian PR Society since 1998 and member of the International Public Relations Association since 2003.

Lubos Skupnik

Mr. Skupnik is citizen of Czech Republic and Italy. He holds master degree in Business Administration from Prague University of Economics. He has completed the Business Management and Development programme of Lancaster University, UK.

His employment record includes the position of Food & Beverage manager in Intercontinental hotel, Prague and various positions related to the MICE sector in Venice, Italy.

Mr. Skupnik joined Arancho Doc in 2001 and since then held the position of Country manager. Arancho Doc is a well recognized force within the international language industry with a network of 10 offices located throughout Europe and Asia.

He joined Event Design as partner in 2006 and contributes to our success with his wealth of experience both in the event management sector and the language industry. He has been Chairman of the International Consortium of Translation Companies and EULOGIA, as well Vice President of the European Language Industry Association (ELIA) — the first pan-European company-to-company association in the language industry and is President of the Association of the Czech Translations Agencies.

Daria Hadjidimitrova
Business Development Director

Daria has been the Business Development Director of Event Design since 2011. Commanding vast know-how in the development and implementation of marketing strategies, she remains a language aficionado at heart. Prior to joining the company, she worked mostly in the hospitality industry, including as Sales and Marketing Manager of the Sofia Sheraton Balkan Hotel for many years. With a proven track record in client-focused sales, Daria is responsible for business development and public relations.

She is a graduate of the Department of History of Saint Clement Ohridsky University of Sofia and of the post-graduate programme in Marketing and Management of the University of National and World Economy.

Today, Event Design has a full-time in-house team of professional event organizers and project managers - Gloria Popova, Desislava Trifonova, Petya Radosova and works with approximately 20 freelance consultants around the country each of whom meet stringent requirements for education, experience and proficiency in event management.
